How to Use doloc

Nothing simpler than doloc for your localization! Just register, create an api token and add the following command after your extraction process:

Note: Regularly, you might set the output file name to the same as the input file name to overwrite it.

Why not use the OpenAI API directly?

You can certainly use the OpenAI API directly for translations, and for smaller examples it might work well. However, there are several reasons why doloc might be a better fit for your app localization needs:

• Smart Context Handling: As the number of texts increases, it becomes challenging to provide sufficient — but not excessive — context for accurate translations. doloc uses text embeddings to find the right context for each text, ensuring high-quality translations even in large projects.
• Stable File Structure: doloc maintains the original file structure and formatting, so you receive ready-to-use translation files without additional processing.
• Robustness: With techniques like structured outputs and processing larger translations in smaller chunks, doloc ensures that translations are reliable (something LLMs generally are not 😉).
• Future-Proof: As LLM technology evolves, doloc will continuously integrate the latest advancements, ensuring you always have access to cutting-edge translation capabilities without needing to manage API changes yourself.
